The Hole

We have an old farm dog and his name is Tucker. He is almost blind and run through with mange, but he is a good dog and loyal.  

We would put him out at night so that he could roam the yard, then fetch him in as soon as the sun was up. 

But when we went out that morning and yelled Tucker Tucker he did not come. 

We found a sinkhole in our yard that morning. I didn't like the way it made me feel. It was so dark inside, like the sun could not reach in there.

I wonder where has Tucker gone?
